Although these laptops from Acer looks cool and great, there’s something we hope from them to be included as these are slated as 2018’s refresh.
The Acer Swift 7.0 got a refresh this year, and dubbed by Acer as “the thinnest laptop in the world” at only 8.98mm thick. Disappointing bit though, it still features a 7th generation Core i7 processor despite months of existence of the 8th generation ones.
Other specs include 8GB of RAM, 256GB of PCIe SSD storage and 4G LTE connectivity built-in. The new Swift 7.0 got an upgrade on its screen size from a 13.3-inch panel to a 14-inch display, still at 1080p Full HD for around $1,699 (~PhP85K).
Moving forward, we have the convertible Acer Spin 3. It has a 7th generation Intel Core-series processor and a 14-inch 1080p Full HD display, priced at $599 (~PhP30K).
Last but not the least is Acer’s new Nitro 5 gaming laptop that packs the latest AMD Ryzen mobile processor as well as AMD Radeon RX 560 GPU, configurable up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 512GB of SSD storage with a base price of $799 (~PhP40K).
The new Acer laptops will be available starting Q2 2018.
