Earlier this week STS Despatch has posted about the BlackBerry’s Motion, and now, without any other launch information – it goes official!

Officially unveiled today at GITEX in Dubai, the BlackBerry Motion has some firsts for BlackBerry – although it isn’t BlackBerry’s first Android smartphone, it is the brand’s first water-resistant phone with an IP67 rating.

It is also the first Android smartphone for BlackBerry that doesn’t sport a physical ‘QWERTY’ keyboard, unlike the KEYOne. It also has the largest battery for any BlackBerry smartphone with 4000mAh of juice, while employing that with Quick Charge 3.0 in order to charge 50% of it in just 40 minutes, via a USB-C charger.
