Home » HOW TO UNBLOCK BLOCKED PORN/WEB SITES? – THE ULTIMATE GUIDE
Can't access your favorite adult/porn or other website? This guide might save you.

POST UPDATED on 2017.09.15 adding new information as well as updating all previous guides mentioned.

We know the frustration, when someone from your network or ISP implements blocking on some websites you love to access, without any notice – so we prepared this ultimate guide to save you from the frustration we all share.

Below is our ultimate simple guide that lets people access their region-restricted or ISP-blocked sites, especially your favorite adult/porn sites that were blocked via a government order (in Philippines this was the case) in order to prevent child pornography – which, in any way, we don’t promote whatsoever. But, you know, sometimes, the blocking wasn’t helpful for others especially for those who just want to make fun out of themselves.

Of course, we all have heard of VPN (Virtual Private Networks), which is, the most effective way to unblock a geo-restricted or region-locked websites (which on our case, mostly works).
But, VPNs are expensive, and sometimes, doesn’t comes with pure reliability at all, especially you’re surfing through tunneled connections and servers – which may lead you to ask – how can we make sure our data aren’t compromised?

Don’t worry, since most VPN nowadays encrypts your connection via its tunnel to its destination, giving you more anonymity than using your normal connection.

So, what are you waiting for? Try these methods below and unblock your restricted web sites. 🙂

VPN Clients

Psiphon 3 VPN client, open-source.

My daily driver for anonymity purposes is the Psiphon 3 – it is an open-source VPN client that is designed to give access to the open internet, past censors and firewalls. It is developed in Toronto, Canada according to its about page.

You have 17 choices for the countries you wish to tunnel into – giving you much flexibility and anonymity than others. It also has the ‘fastest country’ option which helps you to connect into Psiphon’s fastest connected country for much faster internet and browsing speed.

Remember, the farther you set, the more slower it gets.

You can get the Psiphon 3 through this link HERE.

And if you don’t like Psiphon – remember that Google is your friend starting on this one. 🙂

THIS PART WAS ORIGINALLY PUBLISHED ON JANUARY 16, 2017 [UPDATED]

The recent reports saying that popular adult websites are blocked got mixed reactions from netizens, or citizens who find watching adult content as their past time. However, it is really confirmed that ISPs in the Philippines really blocked it in order to comply with the law against child pornography.
Adult site xvideos.com is blocked under several ISPs
Perhaps you’ve been trying to access your favorite website and you are being greeted with this message: ” This website has been ordered blocked under the authority of the Philippine Government pursuant to Republic Act 9775 or the Anti-Child Pornography Lawwhich might be frustrating for some.
Since many people are asking (and due to the fact that Philippines is one of the most users of these websites) and the fact that not all users are children, we did this little guide for you to enjoy, even on confirmed ISPs that are blocking these sites. This guide might also apply to some other sites, not only adult, that you can’t use because it’s country/region restricted.

To note, the websites that are blocked for now (as reported by netizens and were confirmed, even by the author itself): RedTube, XVideos and PornHub (where PH ranks as the number 1 user).

But, how are we going to unblock these websites?

The most easiest method, perhaps, is using a VPN connection (like the one we’ve mentioned above). However, trustworthy VPNs are costly and some of them offer limited amount of bandwidth, so, we’ll skip on that.

But we leave the decision to you if you have spare bucks to pay for either a subscription-based or lifetime VPN bundles. 🙂

Use Proxies

Another easy method is using Proxies/Proxy. This is an equivalent to VPN, and mostly cost-free. Many websites do offer proxy services for free, and one of those is hidester.com

hidester.com main page

Just click the link above or go here: LINK and type the URL of your favorite website. Not only blocked porn sites, but it can also do more things like unlocking country-restricted services and websites such as VEVOPlay Music and much more. Configure the server – (US Server) is selected by default and if you feel that slow connection, change it to somewhere near you. And, making you anonymous all over the web by tunneling you somewhere in the place where you specify (the server). Remember, the farther you set, the more slower it gets.

Note that most of the time, proxies works just like VPN, but they are different in many aspects.
And if hidester.com is not your taste, then you can check out more proxy sites here: LINK
Also, some VPN/Proxy alternatives like Tunnelbear (the one your favorite tech youtubers advertise) might work for you (just remember that 500MB/mo. for FREE accounts).

Use Google Translate?
Not many people do know this, but do you know Google Translate itself can unblock a blocked website?
Popular adult site RedTube blocked in the PH, yet accessed via Google Translate
Try it for yourself. https://translate.google.com | after that type the URL of the website into the first box, where you should type your content to translate.
NOTE: Select another language different than ENGLISH, since these sites are mostly in English, Google Translate will say “The page you have attempted to translate is already in English.” – as shown below:

There is an odd explanation for this, since Google didn’t explained how does the Translate tool works behind the scenes really well. However, it was not really spread out that your known translate tool can be used as a proxy to access blocked sites, including the benefits of translation to a language that you can really understand (except English).
Other Tips
And finally, use a browser like Tor for your leisure time. It will keep you anonymous (not completely), but will help you to hide your identity to most ISPs as well as attackers when you are on these sites. Incognito windows or private browsing mode might help, but it doesn’t hide your precious data from your System Administrator or ISP.

So, you can use these methods, including VPN (if you have) to make yourself anonymous on the web somehow. Because some people don’t want to expose their privacy along the way of using these sites, you must know how to protect yourself.

But, I’d recommend you already reduce or stop watching porn, as it contributes to the bandwidth that can be useful for more meaningful things. :p
