A post from Weibo this week confirms the design of the new Huawei flagship which was previously leaked by Evan Blass (see photo below).

As seen on the photos, the front confirms the large edge-to-edge 18:9 display, along with slimmer bezels, no hardware buttons present in the front (replaced by software buttons) and appears that it runs EMUI (5.0 or unreleased 6.0), running a Chinese navigation app.

The rear shows that it has a reflective and shiny finish though it was unspecified on the previous leak if it will have a metal or glass back finish. The dual Leica cameras and fingerprint sensor underneath are also visible, confirming all the leaks made by Evan Blass in terms of back design.

The Huawei Mate 10 Pro along with its other siblings is scheduled to be announced on October 16. We’ll know more when that time comes, so stay tuned!
