We’re not estranged with weird things applied on consumer technologies nowadays, such as smart under wears that can detect when being touched by someone (or raped), as well as smart tech that can give out another effect than what do you think it does, and if you know what I mean – just think about this smartphone LG has unveiled recently in India which claims it can make mosquitoes go away – the LG K7i.

Okay, I got it – but how?

No, it’s not swatting or hitting mosquitoes with the use of the phone. The LG K7i makes use of its Ultra Sound technology using the speaker on its back to, repel mosquitoes. We even have aircons and other tech doing this, by the way.

Specs-wise, the K7i is powered by an unspecified 1.4GHz Quad Core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 2500mAh battery, and a 5-inch 854×480 FWVGA Display (guess that it’s just a midrange phone), and  Camera-wise, it has an 8MP at the rear and a 5MP shooter at the front.

Although we thought,

is there really a need for this kind of feature in the country?
