Western Digital, the company behind SanDisk has announced the world’s highest capacity microSD card – the 400GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I card.

The new 400GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I card is aimed at mobile users who are heavy on photos, videos, and apps – or you know, the thing we love to watch.

On this size, it can hold up to 40 hours of Full HD video, around 70k+ copies of Taylor Swift’s latest single and many more music. For more awesomeness, the 400GB microSD card can transfer files at up to 100MB/s, is classified as a SDXC UHS-I card, and is rated as an App Performance Class A1 device – in short, it can run apps well.

Pricing and Availability

The 400GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I card features a ten-year limited warranty and will be available at and other major retailers, and as always with these ultra-high storage products, there is a catch — a hefty $249.99 (PhP12,710+) price tag.

However, SanDisk didn’t said anything about when the 400GB card is arriving in stores.
