This is the Snowblind, by computer systems builder iBuyPower, and it’s pretty darn cool, and surpisingly AFFORDABLE.

Truly the future is here, and even though this thing was revealed last 2016 at PAX West / Computex, it came recently at CES 2017 with the announcement of its availability and other stuff, which you can check out here: LINK

The game is changing, and now your side panel can be customized to any look you want with your own crystal clear digital display. Show a video, systems specs or even a custom message while being able to see your beautiful components. – from iBuyPower’s website.

Perhaps better than RGB lighting, is a side panel that is a full-fledged transparent LCD display, which enables you to show more colorful images or videos, like the ones you see above, and below.

The side panel is a transparent and fully customizable LCD panel with a 1280×1024 (5:4) resolution. That display connects through DVI on the back of the case to your graphics card and functions as a second monitor. Though it can be used to play games on, iBuyPower recommends against doing so and notes that it was designed specifically for showing off your PC master race guts.

It was revealed that the case itself along with the side panel only costs approximately $250 or 12,500Php. However, if you wanted the case, YOU NEED TO BUY A FULL SYSTEM FROM iBUYPOWER, which is, pretty expensive, ranging from $1499 (75,000Php) to $2499 (125,000Php).

The systems that are pre-installed at the case are also good, and flexible for future upgrades so you might consider buying it as a whole, if you badly wanted the case. AND, you can customize it according to your taste thanks to the customization options the system builders has to offer.

It wasn’t clear if iBuyPower ships here in the Philippines by default. But, their products are posted on most online e-commerce sites like Newegg and Amazon, where you can opt for international shipping, with options to Philippines. Please note also that they are currently only accepting pre-orders and those orders are set to ship on February this year.
